I think this photo shoot can be summed up quite simply - two creatives getting together and trying something, with no expected results.
Laura and I had not met in person before this, but had connected on Instagram; and both of us were trying new things with this shoot. I had never even been to this lake before, Laura had never modelled underwater, I was (and am) still learning my new underwater camera housing, and I'm still very new to underwater photography in general!
We had a rough start when the first lake access point we tried didn't work...so we drove around to a more public part, but thankfully it was late enough in the summer that there weren't too many people there to watch us splashing around. The water was definitely colder than we had hoped, but our determination won out!
Honestly, we weren't sure when we walked away if we had created any photos "worth" sharing...but it was a wonderful experience working together...and the photos also happened to look great :)
